Anointing of the Sick

Anointing of the Sick is a healing sacrament received by those who are ill and suffering. The person receiving the sacrament will receive the Holy Spirit's gifts of strength, courage, faith, and peace. Receiving the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is for anyone, no matter what age, about to undergo surgery,  struggling with a serious illness or close to death. This sacrament can be repeated if the serious illness gets worse.
